CVISNET attends the 2011 Global Smart SOC Initiative held in Seoul, Korea as per invitation of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency

The Central Visayas Information Sharing Network (CVISNet), who pioneered in providing a wide array of ICT solutions and services to local government units, private sector as well as the in the academe was invited to attend the 2011 Global Smart SOC Initiative held in Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Seoul, Korea on November 17 to 18, 2011. The international business conference was hosted by the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), an attached agency under the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy of Korea.

With the theme “Smart SoC, Change Your Life”, the 2-day event was participated by approximately 200 delegates, 2 of which are from the Philippines, the Civil Aviation Board and CVISNET. The conference hopes to bring in different key players such as government officials, industry experts and private companies to craft opportunities and potential business partnerships, share invaluable knowledge and experiences and an opportunity to assess how information technology and software can improve the efficiency of social overhead capital (SOC).
