βIt was an unremorseful decision on our part to change our Web Site developer from one of the Cebu-base player to CViSnet... evidently it has shown the difference on its page contents; fonts, image and navigating pages are much better, more user-friendly now as compared to our previous web site... On administration aspect: the technical support response is quick and reliable unlike before you have to undergo several bureaucratic channel before being served... updating page contents; articles, photos and videos are lot more easier comparable to adding same on facebook..β |

CVISNet Presents PICeS Project in Singapore

The Central Visayas Information Sharing Network Foundation was invited to the e-Smart World Asia 2011 last February 22-24, 2011 held at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore. Delegates from different countries were convened and ASEAN government projects were presented to provide value-added opportunities for government and corporate executives to experience three advanced smart concepts from Korean representative IT companies. The affair was organized by the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the National Information Society Agency (NIA). KOTRA is a Korean government agency commited in promoting international trade and NIA is a project of the Korean government, which aims at realizing a ubiquitous sensor network (USN) society and fostering related industries.
Among the participants were Engr. Roberto A. Cabarrubias, president of CVISNet and Mr. Jeffrey Llanto, Managing Consultant of CVISNet who presented the Philippine Integrated Community e-System Project (PICes). PICeS is primarily developed by CVISNet with the aim to demonstrate competence in e-administration paving the way of full operationalization of e-governance, education, health and disaster mitigation in the region. Through the said activity, CVISNet had the chance to present the foundation's background, giving insights to all participants on what CVISNet really is and the services catered by the foundation. CVISNet was also given the opportunity to meet different Korean companies as well as some companies and government agencies and organizations in Asia.
