Cebu-based CVISNet emerged third among the country's 10 finalists for the 2005 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Digital Opportunity Center (ADOC) Awards.

The 2005 ADOC Awards recognized the best e-practices from 6 partner member economies for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of the emerging digital technologies and applications such as e-government and e-commerce benefitting the society in general.

The awarding was held 3-6 August 2005 at the Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan.

This BEST WEBSITE award is given by the CEBU CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY for the LGU e-Governance category during the Cebu Business Month on June 20, 2004.
