JUST IN: Barangay Poblacion of LGU Siquijor is now on its road towards becoming Smart Community!

The 2-day Barangay e-System & Tools (BeST) Orientation Overview and Hands-on Training was conducted March 20 - 21, 2023 at Poblacion Barangay Hall Siquijor. The event was participated by delagates from Barangay Poblacion, Canal and Dumanjug of LGU Siquijor and was spearheaded by the Provincial Director of DOST Siquijor Engr. Mario Dela Peña and the Barangay Captain of Poblacion Siquijor Hon. Pat Brian Cortes.

This is a DOST-7 grant-in-aid project that aims to empower the Barangay Poblacion of Siquijor, Siquijor through Science and Technology for the establishment of Barangay -Level Interactive Information System on Skills, Health, Nutrition, Household Profile, Trade and Disaster Response and Mitigation.

May this BeST implementation ignites the whole province of Siquijor in its digital transformation starting from the grassroot level.
